More than 40 attendees gathered for the Chandler Grant Glaucoma Society’s Meet-Up on Friday, October 9, 2026, at Mulate’s the Original Cajun Restaurant in New Orleans. Held in conjunction with the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s annual meeting, the event brought members together with team members from our corporate sponsors, Alcon, New World Medical, and Glaukos.
Conveniently located just outside the Convention Center, Mulate’s offered excellent food and drinks—including alligator for the adventurous! A private gathering space provided an intimate, welcoming atmosphere where attendees could easily circulate, reconnect with colleagues, and enjoy conversation throughout the evening.
CGGS President Peter A. Netland, MD, PhD, described the event as a great success, highlighting the convenient location and setting that made it easy to spend time with everyone.
