Chandler Grant Glaucoma Society Hosts Successful Meet-Up at AAO Meeting |
On Friday, October 18th, the Chandler Grant Glaucoma Society (CGGS) held its annual meet-up in conjunction with the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) meeting. The event, hosted at the vibrant Fat Pour Tap House near McCormick Place in Chicago, provided members and guests with a perfect opportunity to reconnect, network, and unwind. Attendees enjoyed a selection of drinks and delicious appetizers in a private setting that fostered engaging conversations and camaraderie. With approximately 30 attendees, the event proved to be a meaningful way to bring together colleagues who share a passion for advancing glaucoma care and research. CGGS President Dr. Joshua Stein and Secretary/Treasurer Dr. Ian Conner expressed their gratitude for the strong turnout and the enthusiasm of members. The evening highlighted the value of fostering connections among clinicians and researchers in the field. The Society extends its thanks to all who attended and looks forward to hosting similar events at future gatherings. If you missed this year’s meet-up, be sure to join us next time! |
